This piece of work is a slightly abridged translation of the obligatory rituals of the pilgrimage from the Arabic book "Manāsikul-Hağğ" by Ayātullāh Sayyid ´Alī al-Husaini as-Sistānī.

A simple glossary of the Arabic terms is added at the end of the book. There you will find also their transcription, which was done according to the attached table and is written in italics, except of the names of places and the word "Hajj" (pilgrimage). Terms like the Noble Qur'an, Mecca, Mina or Ka´aba that have become common in the English language have been taken as is.

May Allah the Almighty forgive our mistakes and accept our efforts, and may this work be of use to the Muslim community.
