The representative of His Eminence Al-Sayyid Ali Al-Husseini Al-Sistani in Europe states
• the supreme marjia is a source of power to the sect and the reason for its continuity, and the current challenges will end up in failure.

This was part of his speech in a private seminar about the marjia and its importance as well as the secret of its continuity and the role that could the sect continuing despite the many challenges that face it on both front internal and external. He started with the verse from the Holly Quran (يريدون ان يطفئوا نور الله بافواههم ويابى الله الا ان يتم نوره ولو كره الكافرون)) التوبة : 32

His Eminence said: whoever looks into history accurately from the al sader al awal until now it becomes very clear that the conspiracies and endeavours to destroy Shiites and wipe out signs from the map in different ways, but Allah with his mighty, blessings and will wanted the sect to be protected from any harm. ((وَمَكَرُواْ وَمَكَرَ اللّهُ وَاللّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ)) آل عمران:54

To clarify this: any confrontation between two parties each will study the opponents point of power and weaknesses, to be able to take away these points of power and increase the point of weakness. There is no doubt that the recent rise of the Shiites of Ahlul-bait (a.s), the past four decades and the construction of the power and the emergence onto the walled stage and effective way, no doubt the enemies’ circles study the society and try to identify its point of power and weaknesses to benefit from both during the confrontation.

But even institutes of Orientalism, and research centres located in universities (human branches) play an important role in supplying information about Shiites, and It employs a lot of scientific research centres in different parts of the world to provide them with information on how to destroy them from within, all with the current active ideologies and a deviated one, to benefit politicians and rules whenever they want to use them.

There is no doubt these circles are alerted to the important and effective role of marjia in protecting Shiites unity and safeguard that keeps the continuation of the sect since the old times until now. Especially with the appearance of effective role in various areas through the jurisprudence that was issued and the collaboration and support of the Shiites community.

The latest fatwa of the supreme marjia in the limited jihad ((الجهاد الكفائي, to those who can defend land of Iraq is the fullest and most perfect manifestation of the influence of the religious authority. After ISIS forces were a few kilometers from the capital after taking control of more than 70% of the Iraq land, and everyone looked at it as the undefeatable force, and they were waiting to hear the news of their entry into the capital of Iraq between day and night .. this fatwa exceeds the accounts of all and mobilize the youth of Iraq, who sacrificed for their religion and their country and holy places. And to turn the equation.



The expectations of the Americans and the Europeans and those affected by them, estimated that the defeat of the ISIS need for more than 30 years, whereas the holy peoples army that was formed on the basis of the supreme marjia, and the army whom derive the determination and power from it, made victory in not more than 3 years of the age of the fatwa. .

Of course, this did not go very well to the colonising forces and those of interest, whom only interested in keeping your Iraq week and defeated.

Those look and a soul that fundamental and the reason for success is the power of the supreme marjia and its effectiveness, and is inevitable that they worked hard to weaken and defeat it as possible. They thought and plant, and as the holy Quran stated that their defeat was under planning.

And part of what they planned and planning to weaken the supreme religious authority as follows:

1- Form and support deviated ideologies within the sect. As we have seen many new false imposters of Imam al Mahdi (a.s). In this period of time and the first thing that these movements call for to disengage people from the supreme religious authority, and to follow these movements and the founders of it . With the false allegation that they connect directly with the holy Imam al Mahdi may Allah hasten his appearance. Not only that but the claim that the religious authorities are the ones who keep the Imam from appearing peace be upon him! And they target young people and women that they do not possess adequate knowledge nor awareness in that field.

2- Also joined with them some voices cacophony, but they are already away from the sect and its movement, and taking the west safe haven for it. And all they have from foreign currency and media facilities, all they do is transmit lies and propaganda about the supreme holy authority and its plans, people and their representatives.

3- As we have seen enemies the push through their arms, with those who have no adequate knowledge nor behavioural etiquette into claiming the position of the supreme holy authority, the use this to confuse Shiite decision, and create social problems although they do not possess the qualification to do so. Therefore, many claimed the position of the supreme holy authority in a very short time, and they were able to attract some powers. Helping them to do so is the disorganised state of the Shiite community and this is for those to penetrate the community was such false claims.

4- The economic siege of the supreme holy authority by putting pressure on the places that receives money from it. Despite all the above we believe that right will prevail and wrongdoing will not succeed, because right has a country and continuity, and all of these conspiracies will end as the previous ones as ended and failed, through the previous centuries the sect faced many attacks and conspiracies with different sizes and forms. But God Almighty saved the sect and with it traditions of Ahlul bait peace be upon them and with this traditions of the Prophet peace be upon him and his message was sent.

((إِنَّا لَنَنصُرُ رُسُلَنَا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْأَشْهَادُ)) غافر:51
