Dissemination of unfounded statements by individuals purporting to be from Ayatullah Seestani.

Lately, various media sources have been diligently disseminating statements and political analysis from individuals described as “representative of Sayyid Seestani or his aid or his wakil” and other such titles - most of whom have no connections whatsoever with these matters and lack adequate knowledge of His Eminence’s opinions and the background of his political stance(s). This has been leading to a lot of mix-ups and confusion.

The latest claim has been what the media had related to “Noor Aldin Alwaadh, (described as) head of Ayatullah Seestani’s press-office”.

Whilst the Office of Ayatullah Seestani hereby clarifies that no one by this name and title is in their employment, once again we emphasis upon the contents of the communiqué (issues by the Office of Ayatullah Seestani ) dated 17 October 2003 (20 Sha’ban 1424) that “Nothing portrays the opinion of His Eminence unless it has been signed and sealed with his seal, or written and sealed by the Office of His Eminence. All else is just the individuals’ opinions”.
