Imam Ali (AS) Foundation hosts scholars and officials of institutions and centers, intellectuals and dignitaries in London:
• Sayyid Kashmiri underlines the need to supplicate Allah Almighty during the remaining days of the month to end the believers’ ordeals everywhere.
• Reminds the audience of how parents used to bid farewell to the holy month.

The Foundation hosted its annual iftar for a large number of personalities, intellectuals, officials of institutions and centers in London.

The invitees exchanged congratulations and blessings on the occasion of the holy month and the advent of Eid al-Fitr. They prayed to the Almighty for the victory of Islam and Muslims and the believers, especially in our wounded Iraq - where our people are suffering from oppression and persecution, murder, deportation and explosions.

His Eminence stressed upon the audience to use the spiritual atmosphere of the remainder of this blessed month in the recitation of the holy Qur’an, prayers and helping the needy and staying firm on the path of the Wilaya and to pray for mercy of our fathers and mothers, and those who came before us in faith, and not to end this month except with gaining Allah’s forgiveness for our sins and cover for our shortcomings - so as not to be included in the words The Prophet (saww) “Wicked is he who is denied Allah’s forgiveness in this great month.”

He also reminded everyone of the attention paid, by our predecessors, to the last days of the month and their deep sorrow to its farewell, which is the opposite of what happens today i.e. bothering, especially if Eid falls on two different days; we see fidgeting, and restlessness from fasting in preceding days; with people pressing the question about the end of the month and Eid day, while many of us spend our times in such a way that will not be rewarded – if not punished.

We ask Allah Almighty to be among those included in this payer [Dua]:

“O Allah, make my fast thanks to and acceptance of what pleases you and pleases the Messenger, its branches deeply rooted, in name of the Prophet Muhammad and his pure household - Praise be to Allah Lord of the worlds
