The Representative of the leading Marja’iyah visits Shaykh Al-Asifi in London

Allamah Sayyid Murtadha Al-Kashmiri visited Ayatollah Shaykh Mohammad Mehdi Al-Asifi at his residence in London, to check on his health and follow up treatment. He conveyed to him the greetings and prayers of the Office of the leading Marja’iyah in Najaf. By the grace of Allah the Shaykh’s health was good and reassuring.

It is worth mentioning that the Shaykh is one of the prominent scholars of the Hawza in Najaf whose books in various fields and useful research have been published and portrayed on the media to the benefit of the private and public sectors. He is among those who contented himself in this world with little clothes and food. For the past week he has been receiving medical treatment in London for a medical condition he had in Najaf.

Imam Ali (a.s.) Foundation with its its staff and Momineen wish him a good recovery, well being and long life so he can return quickly to his residence and continue with his Islamic Propagation – Allah listens and responds.

For his part, Shaykh Al-Asifi thanked the leading Marja’iyah for his continuous kindness and parental support and prayed for his long life and wellbeing. He also thanked Sayyid Al-Kashmiri for his visit despite his health.
