Marj’aiya’s Representative Samahat Al Allama Al-Sayyid Murtaza Al-Kashmiri joins religious celebrations on the birthday of Sayyeda Zeinab (peace be upon her)

On the morning of Wednesday 3 April 2013, the Khoja Ithna Asheri Jamaat (Seniors) in Stanmore - London celebrated the birthday of Zeinab Al-Kobra, daughter of the Commander of the Faithfull - Amirul-Momineen (a.s).

Samahat Al-Sayyid Al-Kashmiri, who was invited to this auspicious occasion, began his short speech by quoting a part of her sermon (peace be upon her) in the court of Yazid.

So scheme whatever you wish to scheme, and carry out your plots, and intensify your efforts, for, by Allah, our shall never be able to obliterate our mention, nor will you ever be able to kill the revelation (that was revealed to us), not will you ever exalt our position, nor will your shame ever be washed away. Your views shall be proven futile, your days numbered and your wealth wasted on the Day when the caller calls out:
The curse of Allah be upon the oppressors (Holy Qur’an 11:18)

By this, Samahat Al-Sayyid highlighted a part of her virtues, her lofty status and her struggle alongside her brother Imam Hussain (peace be upon him). He added: “Zeinab’s defiance to Yazid still stands today against the tyrants and pharaohs of our time.” He continued: “No matter how the much the gurus and leaders of blasphemy, injustice and delusion worked to submerge and extinguish this Muhammadi light, they can never and will never succeed. It will remain alive and glowing until the reappearance of the Existing One (may Allah hasten his noble reappearance), despite the ongoing attacks, explosions and other destructive and annihilative methods that we are witnessing from the enemy, for Allah has promised to keep this religion until the day of reckoning.”

They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will not consent save to perfect His light, though the unbelievers may detest [it]. (Holy Qur’an 9:32)
